A DOCUMENTARY ON HOW THE EARTH CAME TO BE WHAT IT IS TODAY

History

Recently, I’ve been obsessing myself to intelligent documentaries of National Geographic Channel, Discovery Channel and some others because science is a forte of mine way back on my elementary days; and being ignorant about things creates curiosity on the what’s, why’s, and how’s not just on Earth but in the entire universe.

I’ve come to historical documentaries to science ones and they’ve all impressed me. But none of it has awed me like the one I just watched which was by History Channel entitled: History of the World in Two Hours.

It tells the scientific story of how we all came to be. From the very first atom collided to become what we know as Big Bang, to the ancient creatures that soon to be realized as our ancestors, to the homo sapiens of Africa travelling and conquering the massive lands of Eurasia for years, just by foot, to the dynasties we know about, and to the industrial age leading to what we have today.

It’s very intelligent, and for me, it’s perfect for kids ages 15 and above. I’m 24 now, and it’s absolutely perfect. Perfect for science teachers introducing the massive universe and the science behind it all. Although it says Two Hours, but they have included commercial gaps within it, so it technically runs 1 hour and 40 minutes.

It’s impressive. On how you come to realize your own existence, how vast is could this world be, and how infinite our universe is.

You should watch it!

If you know Torrent, I suggest you click here to download the documentary.

ENJOY!
